In response to Uber launching this week in Nottingham, Autocab is inviting private hire companies to a one-day Roadshow on Thursday 12th November 2015.
As the world’s largest taxi technology company, Autocab is working closely with private hire firms in major UK cities, from London to Edinburgh, in their fight against Uber. The company is in a unique position to be able to share successful strategies that its customers have deployed.
Director, Hassan Abod, explained: “The fact is, despite Uber’s insane amount of financial backing, there is enough space in the market to allow traditional players to maintain and even grow their businesses – all is not lost!”
The one-day Roadshow will take place on Thursday 12th November, 2015 at the Hilton DoubleTree. Nuthall Rd, Nottingham from 10am.
Mr Abod added: “We would encourage owners and managers within Nottingham taxi companies to take part; they will learn a lot from our team about how Uber actually operates and, I’m sure, have plenty of opportunity to contribute their own ideas too. We hope to reveal strategies and technologies that Uber simply cannot compete with.”
